Salim Abbaszade is born 9. august 2009 in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since 2015, Salim has lived with his family in Bø, Midt-Telemark municipality.

Salim is going in 8. class on Bø secondary school and study art and painting on Bø culture school. On the same time Salim study on Sunday school to the Azerbaijani language in Oslo named after Nizami Ganjavi.

Salim is author and painter of many paintings and drawings. He is author for two books. His first book is about the war. The book «Nagorno Karabakh» written on Norwegian about the Armenian-Azerbaijani war in 2020. The book «Sən ele bir zirvəsən» is a book with series of paintings and drawings from Salim. Salim Abbaszade has been awarded with diplomas and awards domestically and abroad for his work.

The young artist and author is also a public person. He is member of the board for Vestfold and Telemark County department of Norwegian-Azerbaijani youth organization NAYO, and Salim is a child diplomat from Norway in World Wide Diplomacy.
