EXCERPTS FROM THE MUSEUM’S PERMANENT COLLECTION.
“WHAT CAN ADULTS LEARN FROM CHILDREN?”
The exhibition consists of originals and digital prints (reproductions) with works that focus on different world views around the meaning and values of life, both good and bad. In various contexts it is interesting to ask; What can adults learn from children and young people? Through many different aesthetic approaches, the purpose of this exhibition is to invite the public to reflect on relevant life situations and society. Children and young people have a special ability to see things clearly and have an important voice and the right to be taken seriously. They see eternal values much more clearly than us adults who are often blinded by materialism, theories and ideas. Children also see the pointlessness in the conflicts adults create. By sharing their views with us, children and young people can help us focus on important aspects of humanity and contribute to positive change.
