Welcome to “Cool with charcoal & ink”

An art workshop led by artist Sara Tanderø.

The children will work with charcoal as the main material, but the children will also get to try their hand at liquid ink.

We will focus on classical drawing techniques such as the study of proportions, shape, shading and drawing self-portraits. The course is suitable for those who love to draw, or who want to to explore artistic techniques. No prior knowledge is required. The workshop is led by artist Sara Tanderø.

***Important message to all participants from the course leader:

“All participants must bring a photograph, of themselves or a family member, it can be color or black and white and it will be used for drawing on the course, so it must not be photo paper.”

Note! Also remember to bring painting clothes and a packed lunch for the break and a painting apron or painting shirt.

The museum is not responsible for stains that do not go away.

Bio: About the artist Sara Tanderø

Visual artist Sara Tanderø works with camera-based art, illustration and video and is educated at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, School of Visual Arts New York and ESAG Paris. She has exhibited pictures nationally and internationally, such as at the Autumn Exhibition, the Østland Exhibition, Portrait Now and several times in New York. Her Artist Book “Playhideandseek” is represented in the library of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC and image is purchased by Turid Meeker Contemporary Art.
