“Barnespellmannslaget *SLÅTTESTJERNENE* are children aged 8-10 who have come a long way with their instrument, most of them play the fiddle. They are classical musicians on a daily basis, but in this team they have let their hair down and thrown away the sheet music, and play Norwegian folk music, which are old traditional dances from different parts of the country. The team has played many concerts, for dancing, at the telethon and has performed with several well-known artists. The team is led by folk musician Åshild Breie Nyhus” (photo: Riksscenen)
