Selvaag Property (Selvaag Eiendom) has started a new partnership with The International Museum of Children’s Art in connection with a Pop-up gallery at Tjuvholmen in Oslo.
The Pop Up Museum Gallery opens in early April 2018 and will be in Tjuvholmen harbour area for a 6 months period in Tjuvholmen Allé 25 – next to Tjuvtitten tower and the Astrup Fearnley Museum, with Peder Lund, Gerhardsen Gerner, Gallery Haaken and Gallery Semmingsen as the nearest neighbors.
«We are very pleased to have the International Museum of Children’s Art at Tjuvholmen. As many know, Tjuvholmen is called the art district, and we think the International Museum of Children’s Art will certainly be complimenting Tjuvholmen Sculpture Park, the existing galleries and the Astrup Fearnley Museum. The Museum plans to offer activities for children, young people and families with children as an added bonus. We already have the Rasmus club at the Astrup Fearnley Museum with good art-related offers and activities for children, and with the Children’s Art Museum the area will get an even broader cultural offer aimed at children and young people,» says Kenneth Olsen, Property Manager at Selvaag Eiendom.
«We are looking forward to establishing a Pop-Up Gallery at Tjuvholmen. With better accessibility and a more central location Tjuvholmen will give us a golden opportunity to show our mission to a far greater and wider extent audience than today,” says Angela Goldin, General Manager of The International Museum of Children’s Art.
– At Tjuvholmen, all visitors will experience good food and wine experiences, including art and culture. The central location at Holmen are in the best possible terms and we are proud to be able to put a new Museum on the map in our «art district city», Kenneth Olsen adds.
