Drop-in visit – Welcome to the Children’s Art Museum!

The museum is open for drop-in visits every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, as well as on weekends(Saturday and Sunday).

Explore a colorful and diverse collection of art created by children and young people from around the world – spread over three floors. At the reception, you’ll find program information in both Norwegian and English, with an overview of current exhibitions and themes.

The collection offers strong expressions and unique perspectives, addressing important themes such as the environment, climate, future, technology, family, identity, education, peace, children’s rights, dreams and visions.

Solve an exciting crossword that takes you through the exhibitions – and pick up a small prize at the reception when you’re done.

🎨 Workshop and activities
In the museum’s workshop, children can draw with quality materials from Faber-Castell, use drawing boards, explore a play corner and also experience our unique permanent doll collection with arts and crafts from around the world.

🛍️ Museum shop
Take a memory home with you! The shop offers over 300 postcard motifs from the collection – as well as inspiring art materials and small gifts.
