PHOTO WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN THEME: “Andy Warhol”

THE WORKSHOP IS LED BY VISUAL ARTIST LISA BAKKE AND PHOTOGRAPHER FREDRIK OFTEBRO

Color party in Pop style! Hand-color your own self-portraits. Join us for a colorful workshop where you can explore your inner pop artist with inspiration from the iconic pop artist Andy Warhol and his colorful self-portraits.

In this workshop, we have taken Andy Warhol’s distinctive coloring of portraits as a starting point and made our own twist on it as a small tribute to the artist. We welcome the children to a creative photo workshop where they get to hand-color and make their own creative interpretations and expressions of their own self-portraits. They will make them inspired by Andy Warhol’s colorful pop-art art that many people know from Andy Warhol’s silkscreen prints with portraits of famous people.

ABOUT THE COURSE LEADERS: Lisa Karina Bakke: Visual artist working with cameraless photographic techniques. Educated at the University of Creative Arts, Maidstone, Kent, UK. Exhibitions in museums and galleries in Norway and Italy. Fredrik Oftebro: Photographer working with traditional and creative photographic processes. Has a professional photographic education and experience as a photographer, including in cultural history museums.
