Welcome to a concert with UFO, Young Folk musicians.

Unge Folkemusikere i Oslo – Young Folk musicians in Oslo – is a group of children and teenagers who play the fiddle and sing traditional folk music. The group consists of around 15 to 20 children from 8 to 18 years. They have practices every third week at Marienlyst school, and play songs from different regions. In addition to their regular practice, they participate at several external events, and during the last year have performed at Riksscenen, Musikkfest Oslo, Barnas Dag (Children’s Day) at Follo, the University Aula, the Oslo City Hall, the Vigeland Park and Lillomarka – in addition to having participated at Oslokappleiken, a local competition for traditional dance and music.
